Sterling Edwards

Sterling returns to the Casa for the 3rd time:

January 4 - 11, 2014

Sterlings workshop in 2012 and 2013 workshops were fantastic and we look forward to his return in 2014! - People have already started to sign up for 2014, (we had 3 people sign up in the middle of the 2013 week! - So reserve your space now as not to be dissapointed!

Sterling Edwards is a contemporary watercolor master with an extraordinary ability to translate his thoughts into expressive and often thought provoking paintings. He is the author of the North Light book, “Creating Luminous Watercolor Landscapes, a Four Step Process”. His award winning paintings have also been featured in several other books and magazines and are in private and corporate collections worldwide. He has been awarded signature membership status in both the Transparent Watercolor Society of America and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.

Sterling Edwards Demos a Zoom Finder, (part 1)

Predominantly self taught, he has run the gauntlet of painting styles, from photorealism to total abstraction. Believing that there is balance in the middle, Sterling has developed a style of painting that is expressive and interpretive with stylized shapes, bold design elements, and strong contrasts of light and dark values accentuated with rich colors.

His maturity of style and daring to be original has earned Sterling the respect of his peers and art aficionados throughout the world. These qualities, combined with his signature line of products, have contributed to his successful career as a watercolor workshop instructor, and his international acclaim.

"The week in Boca with you guys, Bob, and my classmates is very high on my list of best trip ever. To have the privilege to stand next to and watch a master produce his outstanding and creative works of art is etched in my mind forever. If I can be of value in your marketing effort please use me as a referral by email, Internet or phone. Sterling and Bob have the opportunity to create a great Boca partnership. I can never remember a week going by so fast--I didn't want it to end.

Thank you Bob and your staff for all of your hard work putting the package together, Sterling you are a great artist and teacher with a fine assistant and a special thank you to my fellow students.

I hope to see you next year in Boca and thank you all for a wonderful experience."
